I am in the CAP Honors Program at UIS. I want to be a tutor because I believe I can help teach younger students how to develop good skills that will be able to be transferable to college and throughout other aspects of their lives. In high school, I took AP Statistics, Honors Algebra, AP Junior English and AP Senior English, three and a half years of Spanish, and I was in the Cooperative Work Training Program for two years. I have also been to Boys' State-a political summer camp for intelligent high school males-, I have had two published works of poetry, and the last semester I took in college I received all As and one B-. My final high school GPA was 3.77.
